About UsDavisons Chartered Accountants was founded in 1943 by Harry Davison, and until latterly continued by his son, Bill. From April 2005 Davisons is operating independently under the control and guidance of John Ward who has been with the firm since 1978.
Davisons' South Molton office has rapidly expanded in recent years following John’s initiative to offer an integrated, proactive service to clients. In addition to preparing accounts and undertaking government compliance work, operations have developed to meet client requirements, to include business and tax planning, incorporations, fundraising, grant applications, and investment and pension advice to name just a few. As John says ‘we are not quite a one stop shop, but many businesses welcome the opportunity to receive so much advice in one visit’.
In addition to having 10 Chartered or Certified Accountants, the office is a base for Davisons Financial Planning Ltd and WD Farm Consultants Ltd (01769 575935).
We also have full-time offices in Barnstaple and Bideford, serving our growing client base in those two towns, and in the summer of 2009 are moving our South Molton office to new purpose built premises near the Mole Valley Farmers store at Pathfields.
With a diverse team of qualified business advisers across North Devon, and support staff to service the local business needs and agricultural community, continued expansion is expected.
